A Sneak Peek Inside The Clemens “Party Barn”

The Party Barn Is Where We Hold Company Events Our Team Connects On A Personal Level.

From 2002 to 2016, we worked in an office building our company constructed from the ground up.

It was essentially a 3,200 sq ft barn. Space was a little tight at times. But overall, the barn served us well in those 14 years.

As business and our team continued to grow, however, we had to upsize. In 2016, we moved to a 20,000 sq ft office on S. Madison Street in Muncie—the same building we’re in to this day.

So, what happened to our old office building/barn?

We turned it into a place to party!

At Clemens, we’re more than just “coworkers.” We’re one big family—a tight-knit team who attend one another’s backyard BBQs, help each other with our own home projects, and dog-sit when someone goes on vacation.

We’re all about camaraderie and relationship-building. So when we moved our office out of the barn, we didn’t let the space go to waste. Instead, we renovated it, added a beautiful outdoor kitchen, and made it the PERFECT spot to hold company get-togethers.

Thus, the Clemens Party Barn was born.

Here are a few events we’ve held in it…

Back-To-School Ice Cream Social

Many of our employees have kids. In all, our team has about 40 children combined.

So every August, we hold our Back-To-School Ice Cream Social. We hand out homemade ice cream and let the kids (i.e., their parents) pick out school supplies they need. Pens, pencils, notebooks, and more.

Fall Family Festival

September is when we have our annual Fall Party. We set up a baseball diamond, volleyball net, cornhole tournament, and more. In the past, we’ve had the event catered with all kinds of good food, including pulled pork, mac and cheese, and other classic BBQ cuisine.

Including our employees’ extended family, our Fall Party brings in 80-100 people every year!

Christmas Party

In December, we hold our annual Christmas party. We adorn the barn with Christmas decorations and give gifts to employees and their children.

The Christmas Party is also when we like to get a little “fancy.” For example, we once had catering where a professional chef cooked top-shelf steak right in front of us.

4th Of July Party

We’re a proudly American company. And what better way to celebrate the USA than throwing a giant party?

We had all the cookout staples—burgers, brats, and all kinds of dessert. When night rolled around, we even shot off some fantastic fireworks.
