Planning For The Future

While planning Steve’s roof replacement, we considered potential issues. Because he experienced leaking, we wanted to take extra steps to prevent it from happening again.

We fixed the bad flashing around the chimney, replaced all the wood on it, and redirected the water away from it, back onto the shingles, and toward the gutters.

We also ensured proper attic ventilation and installed a water shield, which is an extra layer of protection underneath, just in case.

The water shield isn’t something we have to do. It’s something we do as an additional preventative measure.

We try to anticipate all potential issues and work to avoid them. It is better to prevent a future problem than fix it later.
